Stayed both by River and by lake. Liked lakeside better. Will definitely stay when in the area again. Restrooms were clean and large.

GREAT campground right on the creek! Lousy wifi and cell service. In this modern age THAT really needs to be fixed. Stayed here a week and would stay again.

Stayed on creekside, in big rig. A nice gentlemen helped me back into site. Good camp ground, but not much to do other than fishing in the lake.

In this day and age you would think cell service would be the norm. Not here AT&T zip. Cable analog and very poor. So you would then hope to compensate by having great wifi. Not the case here. No one here and 1-2 bars is the best. Bummers

Some of this campground is beautiful, due to it being the off season when we arrived we didn't have much competition for great spots and got to camp right along this beautiful creek. Ducks are everywhere, they often hang out in groups which was fun to watch. Cellphone Reception for us wasn't available, we have T-Mobile. The Wifi went from being decent to non existant. We ended up driving and finding open wifi in town to download things to tide us over until we could move along. Hearing the creek running was great though, wish it was warm enough to keep the windows open.

Happy Holiday RV Village.. North Carolina, Eastern Cherokee Mountains.. Took a recommendation from a member of this site & so glad we did...came across from Nashville and what a beautiful site to see along Ocoee River and thru the Chattahoochee National Forest. Camp ground is great... our site is along the running creek also has sites with creek behind you & overlooking pond. Cabin rentals as well. Pool & playground for the kiddos.. fishing in the stock pond, close to casinos and offers shuttles to town. Great camp store with some necessities. Staff is very friendly & helpful.. delivers ice & firewood right to your site... Definitely 1 for the books!

| Bloom Where You're Planted

Our Rolling Tribe (the four campers on the right in three photo) enjoyed it very much. Pros: Great family fun place. Good food close by if you do not want to cook. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite if asked. While the restrooms are not modernized they are clean. The campground has its own activities and is also close to town activities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Camping is available on the creek. Cell service, Verizon, was enough to get a call out when needed... Getting one in was a different story. TV appears to be good. Full hookups. Good Sam's discount, we did not ask for the military discount. Cons: The gnats... From sun-up to sundown prepare to swat. The camp sites we had were not level so bring extra levelling blocks if you're on the creek. The sites we had were on the creek but were not on concrete or gravel... it was muddy due to so much rain. Internet was not the best... Better in the early morning. All in all: Bloom where you're planted and make the best of it. Sweep daily, bring games, cards, and you'll be fine. We enjoyed our weekend there and would return.
