Beautiful old style campground. Very nicely kept. Very clean restrooms.
Stayed 3 nights on far north end of park some traffic noise during day but site was completely surrounded by vegetation so very private. Close to shoreline so nice walk to viewpoints.
Great location on a bluff, trail to a river beach. Lots of space and privacy. Kind of a drive to town, but worth it.
Nice county park overlooking the river where it runs to the ocean. Sites are nice, private, with flowering bushes everywhere. Easy path down to the river where you can walk out to the jetty. Restrooms are clean and there are showers. $25 for W&E and they have a dump station. Hardly anyone here this first week in June. Camp host says it gets busy after June 15.
This campground has great sites, very private and well kept. Lots 14-31 have serious low power problems so beware if you're staying here when the park is half full or more. The restrooms and showers are acceptable, not super clean by any measure but they try to keep them respectable. Host and caretaker are very nice and helpful. Trail from park to river beach where dogs can play off leash. No laundry on site but Florence has a nice laundromat on 37th Street and other services and supplies for full timers. Old town Florence has nice shops and restaurants, a dune buggy trip on the Oregon Dunes is fun and we found the Sea Lion Cave interesting.
