This county park seems new to camping & reservations are taken by phone only. The sites are tiny, considering the amount of available space. The chain of lakes is beautiful & there are several wooded trails.
Beautiful campground. The lakes are beautiful there are a ton of hiking trails. The boar and deer are everywhere. Sites are large and clean. Bathhouses are nice.
Found this campground while staying 40 minutes south. We were looking for someplace to stay without leaving the area and this was a great find. Huge area within the Park, with the campground along one of four lakes. Most sites were plenty big enough for our 42 foot fifth wheel. All RV sites were level with about half of them pull through sites along the lake. All RV sites had 20/30/50 amp electric and water. Roads and sites were gravel, and so it can be a bit dusty. Bath houses were new within the last 4 years and kept very clean. Lots of roads and trails to ride/hike. You can have UTV's and golf carts, but not quads and dirt bikes. We finaggled some extra time out of them by jumping sites and got a longer stay which tickled us pink we liked this campground so much. Will certainly be back again! Staff was excellent.
