We live in Indiana so we go to a LOT of Indiana state parks. This park is a hidden gem that not too many people know about. Great location for families as you have the lake, beach, playground, small dirt bike path for smaller kids and movies at the amphitheater on Saturday's during the summer. Beach is nice and good size. Sand is a little rocky but it is a State Park. They have nice nature classes for kids, there was an Owl class when we were there. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Bathrooms are average. If you have smaller kids I would stay closer to the loop with the playground, just easier.
