Highly recommend this park. We had a great site, although some seemed small and tight we took a high spacious site close to the entrance. Nice pond. The place was inexpensive, fairly close to Boston which is a very expensive place to stay and impossible to park near. TRAILS! Check in with the ranger for local park trails. AMAZING for family biking. Nice getaway from touring.
We stayed here 3 times in May 2019 for a total of 12 nights so we could get comfortable with our new trailer before setting off on a cross-country trip. The park is 20 miles north of Boston. Not far from residential area, but feels remote. Wooded area with a pond. Large sites, some with electricity. There is a gun club in the area and we could hear shooting from time to time, but the noise was muted and only a minor issue. Otherwise it was quiet, but it s early May so the park was not crowded. Lots of flying bugs around mid-day. Dump station no extra charge. People who work here were all very friendly.
