| Great wooded park

Stayed here for Labor day weekend. Nice quiet, clean park. The sites were quite large and wooded. Stayed in a back in site with full hookups. It backed up to woods. It was not cheap though. Pool was clean but not heated while we were there.

| A Very Nice Place to spend a Few Days

All the amenities of the typical KOA. About 100 sites. Staff was friendly. Rate was $47 a night. They have a trail that goes to the top of Massanutten Mountain. Clean restrooms. Cable was good, satellite dish only got 2 of 3 satellites. No OTA reception. I would stay here again.

Very tight narrow road to get there. $100 per night for a gravel site that is not level. Barking dogs. Nice patio with a gas grill and patio furniture, but some animal is living under the patio. It is great for smaller rigs. I won't be back.

Superb as most KOA RV Parks are. Green, treed lots, excellent services, more than friendly and helpful staff and we would stay there again in a heartbeat !

Nice wooded campground with lots of amenities. Gravel sites, some 50 amp, some pull thru. Camping in the woods...lots of trees, quiet, secluded. Only negative is I would not call this campground big rig friendly. Road to campground is some distance from Interstate. It is hilly, curvy, and very narrow with no shoulders. The campground roads are quite tight. Hard to maneuver a 40 ft motor home into site.

Stayed here for two nights in January. A very pretty, well treed park on the side of the mountains. All amenities one would expect at a KOA including a playground, small dog park and pool. Nicely maintained grounds, spotless washrooms, fishing pond, and hiking trail. Poured rain both days we were there, but the drainage system kept the level gravel site dry enough. Friendly helpful staff. Good cable TV. A nice spot for an overnight or a longer visit.

Rainy weather, off season rates??? This was the most we paid after 2 weeks on the road and the worst site. The site was tight for our 32 class A and not level. Stayed at other KOAs during our trip and were very satisfied but won t stay here again.

| Quiet rural locale

Very friendly staff. Our site (22) was wide enough to easily accommodate our 38ft TT w/3 slides. Water supply was positioned at the far rear of the pull through so not convenient for a front end water panel. Site was not level but easily fixed with leveling pads. Quiet, cool, and pretty. Worst issue was ticks at our site but heard the Shenandoah area was experiencing a higher than usual tick explosion. Very convenient to locale wineries, caves, and historic sites.

This KOA is in the heart of Shenandoah Valley. It's an easy on/off I-81 Exit 257, 4 miles from the interstate. You'll find big-rig friendly pull thru sites, Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins and tenting. Cable TV is available on select sites. Enjoy warm days/cool nights at the base of Massanutten Mtn. Take a short drive to wineries, caverns, Civil War battlefields and Skyline Drive. Relax by the pool, fish in the pond or hike the trail into George Washington National Forest.
