Reviews for Haworth Park Public Campground

| Nice park

This is a beautiful park located on the banks of the Missouri River. This city owned park is grassy with concrete pads. Sites are large with water and sewer. They do not have sewer but there are dump stations. The check in process is confusing as it is a kiosk type process. We would definitely stay here again.

We'd say it's average. Mostly clean. Quite full of fun and happy locals (Nebraska) on this weekend. We arrived and a neighbor's visitor was parked on our pad and moved politely when we let them know we were staying at that pad. Sunday night we were one of about 5 campers left in the entire park. There was a local resident hanging out at one of the pads (had walked there) and was burning the tree chips in one of the rings. He looked like a transient. The office does not really have an attendant (at least during our stay). Area is nice, and right by the Missouri River. There are trains rumbling through nearby and sounding horns once and a great while. This park would be full all the time, if there were sewer hook-ups!

They catch u with a toll trap right off the bat! It was $2. When we arrived someone had taken our reserved campsite and there was no one to talk to for assistance. You can only reserve online and only a machine to leave a message. The kids playground from the road looked awesome as well as the grounds. There were bathrooms with ok showers. We ended up leaving because no one ever called us back on how to handle the site situation. $25 lost : (

| Lovely large park

This park was very quiet, even though the College World Series Baseball finals were going on. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, but workers were working on a nearby park that had tornado damage less than a week before. Bathroom could use updating, but ok. There was no check in personal, no reservation sins on posts. I never saw the camp host walking the park. We had water and electricity, a cement pad, large lots, some trees. There are lots of walking and biking trails along the Missouri River. Lots of space. We would stay here again ...only 20 minutes from downtown Omaha.

| Nice place for a one night stop.

Only stayed the night on the way out west. It rained and I had to load the camper bare foot in 3inchs of water. Only a few spots flooded. Hard to control the weather. I would stop again. Only pick a site that is not a potential pond

Pleasant campground on the Missouri River. There is some low ground in the campground I'm looking at you Loop C, and if you check in before you pick out your site, I don't believe you can change it. So do what we didn't do and take a drive through the campground and find a site that is not under water before you check in at the kiosk.
