A haven

We stayed two nights here mainly because it had showers and power. Nice place good lots and a fine resturant across the street. With our senior pass discount is was $55 a night and worth it to us. Its a long drive though about an hour to old faithful. Clean bathrooms with hot showers!

Nicely spaced level pull thru spots with lots of trees. Well located to see Yellowstone & Tetons. Great staff, very helpful. Bathrooms & laundry were clean and large. Not 5 star because of no wifi or phone signals and expensive.

Expensive at approx $70/night for FHU, but anything with FHU near Yellowstone is pricey Surrounded by mountains so no cell, no wifi. Adequate space between spots. We were at end of row at back of park so view was woodsy. Roads w/in park very confusing- don't walk around at night without a light! Bathrooms spacious and clean. Outdoor dishwashing area provided. Relatively close to Yellowstone and wildlife viewing at Moose

Costs $75 A night for full hook up. No wifi, cell service and trees block out satellite TV reception. Wouldn't stay here again.

Worth the drive

This camp is located in very remote country between Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks.
The camp is in a well forested area and there is quite a bit of room between sites. There is a very nice restaurant, bar, gift shop, and fuel station (with diesel) located right next to the camp ground. The Snake River is just a short walk from the campground.
Note: due to the remote location of the campground, there is no cell service or WiFi. But I was able to obtain a satellite TV signal.

We stopped by the store in late May for fuel and a few groceries. The campground and restaurant had not yet opened for the season. However the store staff were very pleasant and friendly. A big plus at least when we were there the diesel prices were quite a bit cheaper there than other stations around the area. We plan to camp there the next trip to the park. The higher price camping is worth the cost for the convenience to the parks and when park campgrounds are full .

The good: Close to the South Yellowstone entrance. Close to Grand Teton park. Bad: rv space muddy and not level. Dirt spaces had not been groomed In a while. Sewer hookups r unusual to say the least, and difficult to use. Overpriced food. The park was the worst we have stayed in. That includes Calif, Ore, Wash,Utah,Az,Nev,Ida,Mont, and 23 other states. The management can pony up some dollars for upgrades,WiFi and phone service,roadway and related improvements. On and on .We booked for 2 days and left after 1. No activities in the area. No Evening programs. Advertised as a resort. It is not. Screaming kids, barking dogs, yelling, smokers. Wowsers

Great location between parks

Great location when traveling between Teton and Yellowstone Parks. Level sites with full hookups for large (we had a 40 ) rigs. Convenience store, restaurant & gas on site. Pricey at $80/night, but the showers were hot and we were able to get up to Old Faithful by 9 am to beat the crowds!

Worst RV park ever

Was on an RV tour that stopped here. Dirt, dirt, dirt. Nothing but soft dirt everywhere. Even tent campers are put out on dirt. Wind blows dirt all over everything and everyone. The RV sites have sewer ports that are old cast iron pipes sticking up a foot above the ground with a spur pipe leading out horizontally about 8 inches above the ground. Neither one of these openings allows good downward flow from the RV outlet, forcing you eventually to unhook from the RV and raise that end up waist high to allow gravity to flow the sewage into the sewer dump tank. Total disaster of an RV park.

Dusty, Dark, Disoriented & Disconnected

Poorly marked and dusty pot-holed camp sites with antiquated hook-ups. No chance of any cell phone or internet connection even for emergencies. Free early AM wake-up when Saturday trash collection circles through the campground. More of a $7/nite not the $70/nite we paid just to be between Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks.

Not many RV parks to choose from this time of year - so here we were. It 's a large campground, with cabins, tents, and RV's in the mix. We enjoyed the full hook-ups, but the trees in our site made it difficult to make the most of the site. Yes, there's dirt, dust, and (gasp!) MUD after it rains. It's a campground in WY, not an RV resort in Palm Springs CA. There's zero cel service or wifi, so enjoy being off-grid. The Lodge has a cute little bar/restaurant/store, and a little bit of WiFi.

Very good location between Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Sites are kind of tight, and the sewer hookups are kind of strange (too tall). But it is wooded, the bathhouses and restrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and there is a restaurant across the street at the Lodge. If you stay here, you are probably using it as a Basecamp for Grand Teton and Yellowstone, and the actual camping part is probably secondary. For that, it is great
