... according to the staff, and I believe them! Came in the afternoon, found a HUGE American Coach rally in progress, yet there were still 15 or so sites open. At $25 with full hook-ups, and normally a choice between paved parking lot and gravel/trees, it's great! Also accommodating for late arrivals.
Good place to stop for overnight or if you have a (group) event. Can accommodate any size rig, but for big ones likely on large concrete parking lot. Other spots with trees are gravel only and not very level, lots of slopes and in between grass has hidden "pot holes" easy to step in and twist ankles. Can get very muddy in rain. Sits are nice and far apart but no special amenities like pedestal lights or picnic tables. Very basic. Maintenance crew was very helpful in fixing minor issues ie water leaks. Internet ranged from spotty to very stable (site 443). If in grass areas nice and quiet. Concrete spots right in front of event center and off highway with heavy traffic.
I already did but you did not post the problems going on at the Shawnee expo rv park
Try this again. Shawnee rv expo park does damages to your rv and not held accountable. Transients and street people are allowed to wonder the park and sleep in the bath houses. Laundry machines are broken and you must do laundry elsewhere or do it in your rv. They refuse to repair the machines. Work release personnel are allowed to wonder the park, with management knowledge, unsupervised. With the knowledge of management, people arrive on Friday camp then leave on Monday without paying. Transients pitch tents on weekends then leave before the following work day. I have informed staff, but they don t care. The only concern at the park is rodeo. Even rodeo visitors trash the park and restrooms and laundry building need to be cleaned and serviced, which is not done. For the money, ok. BUT YOU MUST not allow staff near your rv or they will damage it, be aware of the transient people wondering around you rv site, and don t use the bath houses by yourself. Don t know who you will meet from the streets.
