Very nice scenery in the valley. Campground is limited on tree and shade. The price is nice. The lake is wonderful for fishermen. If you like wildlife, watch for mouse in the evenings, and birds all day long. Mosquitoes can get thick at times during the year. The park rangers are wonderful.

Stayed at Henrys Lake RV PARK prior to riding our Harleys through Yellowstone. The park is away from the noise of the why and offers a elegant view of the lake and mountains. Can't wait to return. Friendly staff and clean bathroom s.

The idaho state park system has a very confusing pricing system which must have been designed by n airlines exec: the price sounds good until you get there and all the additional fees are added. If you have a motor home with a toad, you pay for the camp site, plus $5 for the toad. They advertise wifi, but only 20 minutes every 12 hours unless you pay for more service. Even though we stayed in a recently completed loop, we found only two sites even remotely level. The bathrooms were clean. The showers were individual rooms and were clean, with 4 clothes hooks, but the shower heads were mounted very high and sprayed against the opposite wall instead of down to the floor such that the lower half of ones body could not receive a direct stream from the shower. The scenery is good. Would not stay here again because of the high cost. Idaho, except for California, your fees are much higher other states we have visited! The campground was nearly empty, we would have stayed several days had the fees had been more reasonable. We had a W/E site in a class C with a toad.

Spacious campground with lots of room between sites. Our site was not very level, it maxed out my jacks. Not a lot of shade but pleasant temperatures so you don t really need it. Lots of mosquitoes this time of year so bring your DEET. Great base camp for Yellowstone.

Pros: Right on the lake with beautiful views. One of the prettiest places we've ever stayed. Reasonably priced. Cons: Unbelievable amount of mosquitoes infesting our campsite. I have never seen so many. They literally covered our camper. I had to bug spray our camper to stop them from coming inside in hords every time we opened the door. Update: The mosquitoes only seem to be really bad at midday. I really loved the view and space here.

Beautiful views of mountains and lake. Reasonably priced for area and less than 30 minutes to West Yellowstone entrance. Staff is amazing and bathrooms and showers clean. Some days mosquitos are bad and you have to spray. Some days are very windy but no mosquitos. Very relaxing and has boat ramp and walking trail.
