We love this campsite the owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Large sides plenty of room. Lot of tree around. Bathrooms were clean. Will stop again on our way back home
Very nice campground. Hosts were super nice. Huge sites. Mostly long term with a few overnight spots. No Wi-Fi or cable, but that didn't bother us. If we're ever in the area, we'd be happy to stay again.
Easy access off of 80. Beautiful spacious sites very quiet. Owners could not be more friendly and helpful. Gave us some fresh pick corn to have with our dinner. Bathrooms are clean with individual showers.Lots of grass and shady spots and there s a nice canal. We stayed here last year and made sure to make it a stop this year. Will stay again.
I think they only have 3 or 4 "Travelers" sites as they call them - nice long pull throughs. This seems to be mostly a "summer" type rv park for folks. Very pretty, beautiful trees, nice green grass. There is a river and small boat launch down the lane. Highly recommend if they have availability.
I'm newbie rver and M making my maiden voyage cross country. This is my 5th stop in 2 weeks and is by far the best I've been in. Some have been more secluded in the woods which I liked what Hickory Grove has a great combination of facilities and ambience. It's like camping in a park. The grounds are incredibly groomed and your site doesn't feel like eyesight. Full hookup as well as incredibly clean and well-maintained showers. The owners Dave and Joan are super friendly and ready to help in any way they can. If you find yourself anywhere near that's part of Illinois I think you would love this place.
Beautiful campground! Amazing campground owners!! Joan and Dave were so sweet! They were so sweet to our 3 grandkids asked if we were making s mores tonight and I said we didn t have any wood for a fire so probably not. Pretty soon here they come with some wood for a fire!! The grounds were amazing beautiful trees, well groomed grassed in areas. We hope to make it back again sometime!
