Reviews for Hidden Cove Park Marina & Resort

| Pricey, but a nice place

By user-5577666... on 2017-10-23.

Lovely place to stay with large grass areas and open views. Enjoyed the scenery and the lake. 30 amp electric and I didn't see any sites with sewer hookups. Wood rot seems to affect all the structures as everything looks painted but needs maintenance badly. Strangest thing is a level site is dang hard to find here. The grounds seem level but I saw trailers and motor homes jacked up with blocks in the air three feet! Would recommend to others with the exception of the price and crowds! We paid almost $50 a night for 30 amp and no sewer!

Wonderful and friendly people. We had secure place. Has a restaurant. A beautiful lake. Reasonably priced. Full hookup. This place was recommended.

| Stayed 4 nights at Hidden Cove. Nice pads & many trees. Covered table/bbq area & fire pit. Full hookup spots are limited as much of campground hugs Lake Lewisville. Bathrooms are Ok. Staff nice. Would come back again. Stayed in class C.

They do have 50 Amp Hookups. Prices range from $42 - $50 per night They also honor Good Sams (10%) No WiFi in the Park - explanation was that the park is so big and spread out.

| Nasty bathrooms

Too bad...this could be a nice park. $50 with minimum 3 night stay over July 4 weekend plus access fee. 30 amp service and no sewer. Would have been ok if bathrooms were not overrun with spiders, webs, and mud daubers. Also plugged toilets. Looked like no one had touched them to clean in months! Sites were OK though a little tight. Bar/restaurant on site.

Stayed here for 1 night and left. Loud, construction at 8am as they are building cabins next the RV Park. Old docking material left by the restrooms and pavilions. They have a very strict no refund policy and DO NOT care about your experience here! Rude, unprofessional, and clearly believe there is no need to improve on their customers fees back. Worst RV Park yet.

| Well done, pro operation

Uncrowded “club” operation on a lake. Beautiful. 45-75 minutes from downtown. Folks at front and on phone very nice and very fast! Secured by gate and barrier. Restaurant on site but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Level concrete pads. Some sites don’t have sewer - transients probably get these. Some views but heavily wooded - for Dallas. Bring your water-play gear. No WIFI at our site but T-Mobile worked. Will return but negotiate for full services.

| Beautiful, secure and has excellent fishing.

Hidden cove was our home base while visiting friends and family in the fortworth and Dallas area. Rv park is on lake lewisville. It was flooded during our trip. There is a swimming beach, marina, restaurant. We did not try any of those. Swimming beach was flooded during our trip. Full hook up available at sites without direct lake access. But the lake was close enough it didnt matter. The resort feels remote but is only 3 miles to major stores. Hookups were well maintained. But i cant say the same for the playground. Old equipment kinda dangerous esp for young kids. All sites are back in and not level. There is a small concrete pad. But not room to walk around. Wehave a 25 foot travel trailer. We had Major mud in our site... very shady at most sites and grass is hit or miss... Fire pit and picnic tables at each site. Roads are paved. And well maintained. There is a dump station if staying lakeside. No sewer. But still have electric and water. Overall it was a good stay. 4 stars for the rundown play ground. Bathhouse was ok not spectacular but cleanish. (Needs more light) This could be an amazing park with a little work.

| Clean & Pretty

+ This park is very quiet and clean. Check in was easy and the attendants were extremely nice. The rv spots are roomy. The lake is beautiful. We would stay here again. - We paid extra for a lake view and there was no lake view from our spot (#33). The showers are clean, but no a/c.

| Very spacious sites and huge lake

We stayed here for 12 nights so got a good feel for the resort. Very spacious sites, with concrete slabs, lots of trees, and a very large lake with plenty of water sports ranging from speed and pontoon boats to jet skis, kayaking to fishing, and of course a small beach for swimming. If you didn't bring your water toys with you they had many items available for rent- although I thought they seemed a little pricey so we didn't go down that path. We had a 50 amp, full hookup but there was a wide range of other power/sewage options. Price per night was very reasonable for the amenities offered and we'd stay here again. Maybe not in July though as, surprise, surprise it was very hot (mid 90's to low 100's).
