We stayed for two nights in site #7, which is a great spot for watching the wildlife. Sites are level, but large rock make it difficult for walking. They have grass along side of each site; stickers make it tough on the dogs though. Sites are quite close together if all f them are occupied, luckily we stayed during the off season so we didn’t have neighbors in the sites next to us. Gravel road going in and in the park so a little dusty but not enough to bother us. The deer and donkey came right up to us and let us pet them, we fed them apples and spinach, be cautious though, they tried eating wrappers and such when we sat them down on our outdoor coffee table. They stole a dog biscuit off the table. The Oryx and Wild sheep were beautiful to watch in the morning and evening. Staff is accommodating and very friendly. Rates reasonable, have Military discount but not Good Sam as yet. They are trying to get established with Good Sam. Rated 4 stars due to the little yappy dogs 3 sites over from us. They did put them inside in the evening and we had very quiet night and great stargazing opportunities.
