| Nice but Very Noisy

The park is very nice with a small lake/pond in the middle. The staff were very nice and accommodating. There are some very long sites for the big rigs (ours is 43ft). We would definitely go back except for the highway noise. The park is very close to I-35 and the road noise is very loud. Even in the late hours when you would think the traffic would die down. If you have the A/C running during the night, it would probably drown out the noise. If you need a stopping point for an evening, this is a great choice.

1mile south of exit 29. Nice lakes for fishing or kayaks (4 rent), small pool, great showers/ restrooms. Both 30 & 50 amp at each spot. Very little shade cuz small trees. Bring lots of mosquito repellant. Rates are all over the place. We paid 32 for 2 nights then they jumped as high as 49. Office hrs 9-7 except Sunday then 3-7. Ice, propane, & small store there.

Clean, well organized, beautiful, and friendly. I couldn't ask for more.
