Not only a great place to stay and close to Alexandria, LA, but also great people. Angela provided assistance over the phone, helped us find our way, and helped pick out a great camp site based on our needs. Wonderful setting, close to the lake, and beautiful sunsets.
This is a great place to stay. It is a short drive off the freeway, and well worth it. The big trees and lake view will take your breath away. Very quiet and secluded, not to mention great host. She even brought us some homemade gumbo and pumpkin desert. We will defiantly be back. Thanks Angela.

Name is true, Hidden Treasure Small, Quiet park, trees and birds (only noice)hosts are outstanding! Located about 15 miles NW of Alexandria!
Campground is quiet & secluded. Owners are friendly and helpful any way they can. The restrooms, showers, & laundry is clean and in working order. Site we stayed was nice and easy to set up on. Campground has boat ramp and fishing area.
