"If you want to be in the country, you gotta drive on a country road to get there." Yes it is 7 miles off the main highway and parts of the gravel road are washboard. But the road is solid and plenty wide. Spectacular vistas. Unparalleled hospitality. Terrific sites. Great atv trails and if you are skilled motorcycle, too. A bit too rocky for mountain bike. Personally I would prefer that pets be allowed to run free. I could have easily stayed a month but needed better Wi-Fi to stream online classes...service is adequate for email and web browsing. Awesome place. Give HVR a try.
We had reservations here but when we saw we had 7 miles to go and the road was rough gravel and very narrow we turned around in a driveway and cancelled our reservations.
Absolutly love this place. Its out in the middle of the desert and very quiet. The people there are so pleasant and welcoming. The owners are awesome people. lots of trails to walk or go on your quad or side by side.
