I don't think they are done with it yet. Was clean and well laid out for big rigs. Will stop again.

The RV Park is just a gravel lot, but each site has full hook-ups. All pull-thrus. FREE laundry with nice machines (about 5 of each)and good A/C. Also private restroom/shower combos (2). VERY CLEAN and large. Big tile showers. Everything was spotless! Don’t follow Google Maps, you’ll end up at the wrong exit in a cornfield! Take the exit for Hwy 60 towards Tonkawa, first gravel road to the right (you can see the RV’s from the main road) go about 1/4 mile and check in at the bar! Very nice people! The price is right ($18) and there’s not much on this lonely stretch of I-35.

| Repeat stay was a bust

I stayed earlier this summer and gave this park a pretty good review. On my return trip home in November, it was a much different picture. The rate had gone up to $20 a night, and there were many more workers staying there as witnessed by the number of gravel haulers parked around the perimeter. Everything else was pretty much the same except the restrooms! The sinks were clean, and the floors were fairly clean. They have 2 restroom/shower combos that are in their own individual rooms. In one the toilet was moderately dirty, looking like it hadn t been cleaned in a week or so of heavy use. The other had every inch of water line (bowl and inlets around the rim and down to the waterline) were covered in mildew. This comes from using (unclorinated) well water and means the toilet probably hasn t been cleaned in a couple of weeks. (NOT something I wanted to go in!) However the real problem was the shower. The showers are huge and tiled in small blue and green tiles. AFTER I got in and started my shower I noticed a putrid smell and realized the entire perimeter of the shower contained stagnant, moldy water! Absolutely gross! Like it hadn t been cleaned ALL SUMMER!
