Beautiful campground and scenery. If you enjoy hiking and walking trails this is the place to go. Disappointed about the swimming beach very small and shoreline was not kept up. Showers and bathrooms were nice and we'll kept. Tried fishing at marina and butterfly pond with no luck. And yes raccoons will visit your campsites in numbers. We liked it and will visit again but not for swimming.

| Not for big rigs

Took an hour to back in our 40 ft 5th wheel. I'm not sure how we will get out. Narrow roads with trees too close to roads to maneuver a big rig.

| Beautiful state park, clean scenic campground

Sites are beautifully tree-filled, which is true of the entire park. Our sites were level and most others seemed level too. There are double sites for popups and tents wanting to share a site. Being on the outer ring of the campground, we had easy access to the walking/bike trail and rode to a lookout each night to watch the sunset. The Lime Kiln Trail can be muddy is steep going down and coming up so wear sturdy shoes. The campground is quiet, peaceful and clean. The bathrooms are cleaned daily between 12:30 and 2 pm and looked neat. Do not leave out any food or unsecured garbage as you may have raccoon visitors when the sun goes down. We can't wait to go back!
