Reviews for High Country RV Park

| Not bad for the price

Stayed 3 nights in a 31 ft class C. Arrived 3 PM to find office door locked with no note. After wandering around for a half hour a resident said owner (Lloyd) was out of town. I just drove in and picked my own site since I reserved and paid in advance He showed up the next day. The pics show grassy sites but it's all dirt and some gravel where you park. WIFI broken. There is a library within walking distance that has WIFI. A couple of perm residents in run down motorhomes/trailers. One guy living in a military style tent with junk all over the place. Garbage overflowing. Bathrooms/Showers were okay. There is a small grocery store across the street also a liquor store (definately needed around there!). Tourist info center next door (closed Sun,Mon). Nice restaurant down the street (Blondies). Had a burger that was pretty good. Owner was accommodating. Laid down hay near my rv as it was muddy. I think this place is more for hunters than tourists. Not a whole lot going on. It's mostly a mining/ranching area
