We had a lovely stay here last week. We spent three nights in site 42. The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful. The river was REALLY low, so it didn't really look like the photos. That was expected as we are in a drought. They still had a lovely natural spring fed swimming hole. The laundry room was small but clean. On the last full day before we left they blew a transformer. The ladies in the office called my cell to make sure we had our dogs with us since the power failed. So thoughtful! We will definitely stay here again.

We had a nice and quiet stay and river is nice too. Small and old bathrooms, you have to pay a $ 20 deposit for the key. Only 2 washers and dryers. Now the pros. There are really not many camping options in the area, roads are narrow and winding and even just trying to pull over for a while might be a challenge in many miles for a larger rig. We found it positive that there is a flat grassy area at the entrance for any late arrivals with no reservations, you can arrive anytime, park and use the self pay envelopes. May 2016 the price for that option is $ 25 and no hook ups. There is a dump station and propane refill station. We paid $ 39 for full hook ups, 30 amps and cable TV and we loved our spot. I would call ahead for reservation, this is low season and they are packed. I believe this is one of the very few options before heading into Yosemite and because of that peace of mind and a relatively fair price, I give it 4 stars.

Somewhat pretty view of local ball fields and a river despite being in downtown Oakhust. Bathrooms are old, tired, poorly kept and there are only 4 showers and 4 toilets total for the whole campground! The staff are helpful and friendly but not on-site to manage noisy campers at night. There was no traffic, train or plane noise but if there are loud campers, you may be stuck calling the police.

| Not kid friendly

Pulled in and pulled out. Just plain ugly no river to speak of because of the draught. One single road with a construction business on on side and the town on the other.

Having a lovely stay here. It's quiet and small and our site backs up to the river, which is really a stream right now with our drought. The place is small and it's not fancy, but it's also not crowded or loud. Loving the quiet and the boys love the swimming hole. Nice ladies in the front office are very helpful. Would stay here again. Follow the directions on your email confirmation for the easy to find RV friendly access, the "main" entrance it tricky to find and hard for RV's to maneuver.
