This is a great campground nestled in the woods outside of Spring Valley. Under the shade of the wooded canopy it is 10 degrees cooler in the summer here. The sites are gravel sites with good infrastructure of roads. There are walking trails as well as an equestrian area for campers with horse trailers and trails for them. Big rigs do fit in most of the sites, the descriptions on the reservation site are pretty good. There are no longer any first come first serve sites here, you need reservations on the summer weekends for sure. Some sites do not have electricity, make sure to check that on the reservation site. The recreation area is not connected to the campground, it is about a 10 minute drive. Easy access to I-94 and sites like Crystal Cave.
