We stayed here in 6/2015. Never again. 3 regulars stay here with loose dogs. Never saw the owner and we were the only other people there. Full hook up. No drinking water. It's gravel and weeds. We will not ever come back. Oh yeah it's cash only.
All gravel desert. Any fees too much.
We stayed at this campground several years ago and it was very nice. There were flowers planted and area was groomed. We recently stayed in June 2014 and what a difference! The landscaping was in need of some TLC. The grounds were not maintained. The payment area was in need of a cleaning and some paint. The water was contaminated with heavy nitrates and could only be used for bathing and washing dishes. Boiling the water will not make it safe, it just makes the nitrate level higher. Be prepared to go purchase bottled water for your stay. We never saw the owner during our stay. A nice touch would be a few picnic tables that you could use at you site. Not too many other options for your RV stay in Columbus area. This could be a nice campground again with some TLC and water filtration.
