Better than faria, in my opinion. Better waves here, if you are in to surfing. Camp store only open on weekends, but the camp host is very friendly and you can ask him for ice, firewood, etc and he's happy to accommodate.
GREAT and cheap. A small walk up campground but really cute! It's worth it.
....ansonsten ist der Platz sehr klein, d.h. nur 4-5 Plätze haben den schönen Blick, ansonsten hat man dort schlechte Duschen, die man zahlen muss und zumindest in der einen Ecke einen Generator, der sehr störend in der Nacht ist. Außerdem gibt es keine Regeln bzgl. der Generatoren, daher können auch diese störend sein, denn die meisten Plätze sind auch ohne Hookup. Wenn man auf die Toilette verzichten kann, sollte man eher die Campingmeile zwischen den Ventura Campinggrounds nutzen mit direktem Blick aufs fantastische Meer.
Really enjoyed our stay, very few campers. It cost us $50 per night, but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. We had power, water and sewer, cable did not work. On a sad note, the facilities were really old and homeless people were moving through the area everyday.
We went to Faria beach, but it was crowded and full. They directed us 2 miles north to Hobson. What a luck! Beautiful spot near the ocean. Not crowded at all. We enjoyed the sun, sea, surfers, bbq, fire and beautiful sun sets. Compared with commercial parks in the area also not to expensive. Everyday the park ranger visit a few Times and park maintenence keeps it nice and clean. We had full hook up. The spots aren't to big, but if you want full hook up and a perfect and spacious spot, reserve #3! We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but ended up staying 4. Loved it!
