First of all ...the camping is $24 per night for very rustic camping because MI charges a $9 passport fee per night. There is one water pump for the whole camp, but the water has a sulfur and metal smell and is discolored. Pit toilets. All that being said, we think this is some of the most beautiful camping area in MI. We have come back many times. Plenty of sites, and many are right at the water. Big enough to get trailer or motor home in, with a tow car beside ( must unhook though). Lots of mosquitoes at night, but a great view of the MIlky Way, so who cares!?This is real camping. Side note: the little grocery store in Naubinway is now closed. There is no dump station , so this is basically dry camping. Make sure you have dumped and are full of water before you get here.
Usual State Forest Campgriund. Right on Lake Michigan. About 35 wooded, private sites. Most are RV accessible, but many may take a bit of work to get level.
