Since our visit a year ago, the park has seen some improvements. Pool is back up and running, bathrooms were freshly painted, and repairs on pier. They still have a few older trailers that have been sitting awhile, but most waterfront sites are available. Military or AAA discounts given. It's all about the view and sunsets!
This was our 2nd year staying here. We really like it. Not much to do though. If you want relaxation this is great. Usually only stay a few nights. Great restaurant tropical trader shrimp within walking distance.
If it breaks, they don't fix it. Pool closed by health department, and many repairs needed everywhere. Several area residents with their personal belongings pi k ed under and around there old, dirty rvs...sad .
Very well maintained. Pool is excellent. Restrooms and showers are the cleanest I've seen. It's right on the water and a really fine place to stay. The restaurant across the bridge, a very short walk, is excellent also. I hoghly recommend the crab stuffed shrimp.
Clean and a very nice facilities. A fishing pier was on the property and a nice restaurant on the other side of the main road. We enjoyed our stay.
This is our 4-6 th time we have stayed here. Over the years we have se n it From OK to bad to OK. Sites on the bay are very close together, and not well maintained. They are raked often but sites need some work to level and remove exposed tree roots. My wife has trip over the. Several times. We have had problems with the water, electrical and cable. Seems like the cable never works at many of the sites. My last visit I had to run a cable off a splitter from three sites away. Management say the cable provider is always working on the systems. Nothing has changed as the cable still again does not work. It's not a big deal however if your going to advertise it it should damn well work. The bathrooms and showers are quite old and in need of extensive repairs. Reminds of my days on a Navy base, when it starts looking bad paint it. The one thing that really made me angry is when we were here last Thanksgiving, I made the reservation for March. I requested a specific site and was told it was set. This campground does not take deposits or send confirmations. That being said I called three days prior to confirm and was told my site had been changed. That did not make me happy and expressed that to the receptionist. The upon arrival I was told it had changed again. I was told the site was larger but what they did not tell me was I had to negotiate around a huge pine tree to get into the site. Needless to say I was not happy with this visit. This week I will be looking for a new place to go. As I see it the only thing that this campground has going for it is the view which I admit it spectacular.
Waterfront sites are close together but it was not full so not an issue. Beautiful sunset. Bugs were an issue but they are an issue most places.
This is a nice campground, not too difficult to negotiate the spaces, but they are amazingly close. Theres supposed to be a walkway between mine and next door, but theres no space to actually walk. Unless you have a window in the very end of your camper, you wont be able to see it without stepping out, so I'd just take a back one next time, where it's less noisy. The cable didn't work on my site, so they told me to connect to the next site. That worked for a day. Pool is clean, laundry facilities work, and the people seem nice. Dog friendly. Good food and a liquor store in walking distance. A great beach, Alligator Point, is five minutes drive.
A well maintained rv park. The site are tight but easy to navigate. The cable, electricity ,sewer all working. . The [pool and restroom are clean .
A nice rv park with a view of the bay. BEWARE the waterfront sites are 20ft wide. The electric, water, sewer were excellent.
