I found this place on RV Parky as I was looking for RV parks around Omaha and Council Bluffs. This place is abandoned! There was a fire here - it must be at least 5 years since it was open! Edited: I realize now that the Missouri River flood of 2011 hit this area hard. I imagine that was the main reason this park was destroyed. Some of the trees did look burnt though. Perhaps there was a fire with all the drowned dead trees in this area. FYI: Google Maps Street View shows historical photos from 2009 where there are campers in the park, and latest pics of the destroyed park. Wow.
