| Small but fun

Nice little campground. Some of the site's are very small. Especially those with sewer hookup. Very friendly and great place for kids. Extremely convenient to Bone amenities. Stayed labor day weekend 2015.

Great central location for Boone and surrounding areas. Well kept with lots of family activities. Will definitely be returning. Everyone was very friendly.

We stayed a year ago and loved it. The family that ran the campground was very friendly. They have fun activities for the guest to mingle and visit. Very close to shopping and entertainment. Definitely will stay again. My husband won the chili cookoff while we were there.

From the Boone area and used campground to try out our new motor home. Lots for our 34' were available. Washrooms and showers were spotless. Nice fire area, wooded and shady. Very nice staff and I would recommend to everyone. Stayed a week and wish it could have been longer, our Bishon loved it.

First time staying at campground. Staff very helpful, owner had to help us get into a very awkward site. Nice and shady great high canopy tree top. Creek but kind of slow moving. Some sites are great others not so much. Don't get one by the bridge - people walk through and kids play all over your site. Couldn't relax because kids playing on high rocks with no parents made us too nervous!! Bathroom not clean. Women bathroom had one shower stall out of order due to curtain torn down and a mess.

We stayed in site c-2. It was wide, shaded site right on the beautiful creek. Great place.

Honey Bear is a nice campground. Sites are deep in the woods and mostly shaded. Some sites are too small for anything bigger than a pop up. We were in site C2. It was plenty long and wide for our 33 foot tt and backed up to a little creek. Staff is friendly. Bath House is very clean. But the showers need better plumbing. This location near Boone.

| Great family owned location

This a campground built on the side of a mountain side, so some are better than others. It is clean and neat, and areas where we can turn puppies loose. The staff was great. The negative was that four different groups had 5 sites across from us, and quiet time was a foreign language, Despite 3 inched per day om Wed the 12 to Tuesday .

No cable as advertised. Very hard to fine. Sign was leaning into a tree. Other signage was broken in half. If you go past it, there is nowhere to turn around for miles! WiFi only in the coffee shop/office area. Rate is not $21. It is quiet and heavily wooded for some privacy.
