| Great location for hikers

The site was confusing to locate travel trailer. Wifi was poor. Verizon Cell phone was fine. Utilities worked fine although the electric was touchy the last day and the whole town was out of of service for a day due to lightning strike nearby. The town is quaint and is within walking distance. several good places to eat. Went to the spa for the mineral bath. Should be called warm springs not hot.

| Meh...

Let me say right up front, we did not camp here. I called from Maggie Valley to see they had any space for our 20' travel trailer. The pleasant voice on the other end said "oh yes, we have lots of room!". Excited with the prospect of jumping into a hot spring and camping by a river we lit out for HSC. We got there and sure enough they had lots of site's available with 30 amp service, water and sewer but all of them were dirt sites. $60 bucks for the privilege of slogging through the mud and no discount for the miniscule 1 hour hot tub experience (Hot Tub mineral springs a mere $45 dollars, 2 adults for ONE HOUR!). No thanks! Not a good value in my opinion. $10 out West will get you all all the hot spring action you can stand.
