| Cheap, affordable basics
Some good and some not so bad: Family size: 4 (6 with cat and dog) First: kids = more money per night/wk, but affordable, so parents/families please be aware of additional costs. The website doesn't explain the rates last I checked, but this would be helpful information to post. Some of the sites have issues running 30amp connects. Site manager advised me of the issue prior to offloading/registration. We had the electrical issue with our site. The staff quickly pulled $40 out of the drawer, handed it to me and told me where to go, to purchase a 30 to 50 adapter. 6 mile round trip, and we have power! The majority of the sites are full sun but every site seems level so no incline/grades to battle. Some sites have limited parking for only 1 vehicle. Park is very close to the George Busch airport, expect fly overs. Some additional details to the amenities: 1.25 per load to wash, 1.00 to dry. Older play equipment for children so adult supervison may be needed depending on ages and so on. Yes its an older rv park, but gets it done. Don't expect a KOA with fresh immaculate amenities and equipment. Affordable, calm and quiet park(minus airport), and helpful staff. 3 stars
