1 st they overcharged. Then we got a site crowded with full timers. This means a lot of noise early. The showers and restrooms were out of order for this section. It looks like it was nice at one time.
We stayed for one only one night on our way to New Orleans. I have never been so thankful to have my own bathroom in my rv... Restrooms and showers were disgusting! Dirty and demolished. A shame to offer something like that for 50$!!! Broken tiles, torn out toilet, water faucets out of shape... This place was no fun at all! Dirty and not taken care of for a long time. Outer appearance ok, but do not open any doors... My personal advice for the manager of this place: Charge less or renew your facilities!
Just needed an overnight hookup and this worked fine for that. The rear area of the park is new and the spaces are huge and beautiful. The ones up front are average size, but not real long. Our 41 DP, pulling a Jeep Cherokee, fit with no room to spare. Turning room is tight and requires forethought to negotiate. The pool is tiny and I have no idea how it supports that many RVers. However, I think the main draw hete is the water outside of the park. The morning that we were leaving we found ourselves (we weren't the only ones) confronted with the exit route being paved, thus stopping egress from the park. Not a pleasant surprise. No one told us about it at check in nor was a notice posted anywhere. A serious pain in the patooi.
We stopped here on our way south from PA in early January. Just needed electricity as we were still winterized. Still cost $50. RV site was pull through and nice and level. Only had 2 bathrooms that each had a combined shower, sink, and toilet. It was very clean. If you needed a toilet quickly you might be in trouble as folks using the shower eliminated access for a substantial length of time. There is a nice Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Considering the price I'd go elsewhere. It is very convenient to Houston.
