We were just stopping for the night and were happy to learn about the trail that led to the ocean. We enjoyed that the next morning. The stream that runs through the campground that leads to the ocean provides a soothing sound to those sights nearby. There's also a large open space for the kids to play. One tip ... empty your tanks at the dump station at the entrance since the sites do not have septic (For some reason I thought they were full hook-ups)
The campground was amazing! Pristine! The bathrooms in the first loop were incredible. But, many of the fire pits (including ours) were ridiculously tall. You could not feel the heat of the fire unless the fire was dangerously huge.
Campground is older so the spaces are short for a 30 ft camper plus vehicle. Restrooms and showers were clean. Don’t expect any help from the park staff.
Campsites were beautiful but there are very few pull thru sites. Sites were pretty short for my 34' unit. Camp hosts were great, helpful and friendly. Nice walk to the beach for sunset!!
