This is a nice little park at the northern tip of the Door County Peninsula. It is right off Hwy 42 and a few spot are close to the road, but that noise didn’t bother us. Many sites are further back and you don’t hear the road noises. They have done landscaping at a few sights and they are semi-private feeling. Not too close to each other, but not secluded. I love that they have a ton of garbage cans around and are all separated for garbage, recycling and even dog waste ones. Close to Sister Bay and other nice towns on the Bay side of the peninsula. Nice owners to work with on top of that.
We had a lovely time at this campground. Site are nice sized and easy to get the big rigs in.
I discovered this gem when we took a trip to Door County. I have absolutely no complaints about this campground. The sites were very nice and the staff was too. It is close enough to get to all of the attractions in Door County. After running around all day, it was nice to come back to a peaceful setting.
We have stayed at Hy-Land 3 years in a row and just love the quiet beauty of the park. You can have a treed or more open spot for satellite service. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. You are just a short drive to any of the many restaurants, shops or outdoor activities that the wonder of Door County offers.
