A wonderful park for any type of trailer. Big, mostly flat, very long pull throughs all with 50 amp electric, good water, firepit and good table. Park has clean modern free showers and washrooms, dump site, playground, amphitheatre with ample kids' programs, swim beach, boat launch, fishing lake. Tent sites abound. Deer and wild turkeys are common; much other wildlife and birds. Five miles from town of Cavalier with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars and services. Several interesting museums adjacent to and inside the park. Located along very scenic drive to Walhalla and about an hour from Grand Forks ND.

Pretty wooded sites. We stayed in loop closest to beach. Site located on top of bluff but short walking trail to beach close by. The drive thru sites were curved so good thing we were only 24’ class B

Wonderful state park. Plenty of site room, well cared for and this has to be on of the best we have stayed at.

Our first time at this state park. Wow, we were very impressed. Grounds were immaculate, grass looked like a golf course, clean, new shower/bathhouse, friendly staff. Pull through sites with lots of trees and shade. 50 amp on Some sites. Some areas have a few lower hanging branches. Heritage center has WiFi internet access, library, computer for public use, and work stations. Also a museum of local history. Swimming beach and boat launch. We would definitely stay here again. We were in a 42ft 5th wheel.
