We did not have reservations but just stopped on our way, we were put in a beautiful riverfront spot, it s considered a premium site. Checkin was painless and everyone we dealt with was accommodating and professional. Campground is very quiet even though it s pretty full. Yes the spots are pretty close together but the way they set them up doesn t seem that close. Our site was very level, had a picnic table and a fire ring and green grass. It is very close to Leavenworth if you want to run into town but our spot was so pretty we didn t want to leave. I would definitely recommend.
This was our third year staying here. We just love this campground. It is a peaceful campground, right on the banks of the Icicle River, which puts you to sleep every night. Our two grandkids were with us this year and we took them into Leavenworth for Kinderfest, which they loved. We stayed in site 19 in our 36 Bighorn.
