Reviews for Indian Point Campground

| Wonderful location in Duluth

A quiet campground near Duluth with mature shade trees and along the St. Louis River. We stayed Tues-Friday but by Thursday, the sites were filling up and the ambiance of privacy disappeared. The site was level gravel; the bugs were not bad (we saw the owner spraying the surrounding woods - that helps!) The showers were hot but the water pressure was lacking. We would definitely stay here again due to the location and trees.

| MUDDY MESS!

Do NOT stay here after a heavy rain. Not enough gravel on site's. Tight pull-throughs because of trees. Not very well maintained. I"m sure it's lovely in the summer, but will never stay again. Oh and did I mention it was way overpriced? $47 although after much complaining they refunded $12. What a muddy, mucky mess.

This was nice place too stay for a few days. Only 7 miles from downtown Duluth. This a city run park and they do a good job. There is a marina near. I needed coach batteries and the marina had them in stock. Batteries were installed at my site within 30 minutes. Many trails run all around the park. There are many stores for supplies close to the park. It was $36 per night. The office personnel are very nice...

| Good but not Great

The site we were at was a muddy mess and we didn’t have much of a gravel driveway to park on. Some sites really didn’t have anything. The campsite was adequate but they cleaned the bathrooms at checkout both days which was annoying. The good part is that it is right off of the munger trail and there is a kwick trip nearby if you forget anything. My search for a Duluth campground continues.

| Nice Campground

Clean, friendly, loved access to fish and trails. Downside, campers walking around campsite at 3 am woke everyone up, laughing, talking loud with no regard to others, unfortunate.

A pretty scenic area nice trees and friendly helpful camp manager. Could use more rock on parking spots. Restrooms could be improved.
