If you are looking for somewhere to relax, this is the place. Sites are really nicely sized - our 44 ft 10 in toy hauler fit nicely, with the back porch down too. Right on the Henry River. Definitely not the place for a party weekend, but the perfect place for peace and quiet!
Gina and Rocky own this campground. They are caring and concerned people. We have stayed here when we were in the Hickory NC area, and have felt comfortable, secure and cared about. The road leading to the campground is hilly, but worth the trip. The campground itself is level, clean and cared for.
Nice park. Nothing fancy, but well kept. Friendly folks. No showers or restrooms. Our second time.
This place is great. Exactly as described on their web site. For those who only read reviews and not the web site, this place does not have bath rooms or showers. It is set up for RVers and tenters are not allowed. Reservation was easy. Owner (Genia) was great, very friendly. We have a 39 foot 5er that is heavy and had no problems getting in or out, although the gravel road is a little steep. Our pull through site (#20) had plenty of room for our rig and a chase vehicle. We stopped for an overnight stay but I will definitely keep Indian Springs in my list of preferred camp grounds.
Reasonably flat site, great utilities, very quiet place. Very friendly folks! The best WIFI of any camp site we have ever stayed at! The road in may feel like you are lost, but well worth it when you get here! We will come back here again if we are in the neighborhood!
The road is steep and windy, but in our class C pulling a car, it was fine. Very well kept CG, not far off the road, quiet and has big spots. Definitely marking as one of my favourites!
We stayed for the night while we were traveling. Very nice rv park. The road going in and out is narrow. Only one rv at a time.
Getting into campground like the movie Deliverance. Rough roads but once inside great place to stay. Clean, good power, good WiFi. Nice staff, $35 cash only.
