Sometimes it's difficult to find an RV park in a large city, like Indianapolis. We find that sometimes fairgrounds solve that problem. In this case it's better than most. The sites are nice grass spots just off of a large paved parking lot. They offer full hookups with 50amp service for $30 per night. The only negative is that there is no shade. Bathroom and showers are available but I haven't checked them out to know the quality. There is another portion of the campground area that offers pull thrus and shade but it wasn't open when we were there. We were in a 40' RV and the space was plenty big and roomy. We would stay here again.

We stay here often. Convenient and safe. The lower number sites are relatively flat. Sites 1 thru 6 dont have sewer but the fairgrounds supposedly has a dump. You should call security ahead of time to find out about what is happening when you plan to be camping. They can tell you best place to setup to avoid / or be in the thick of any events. You will need reservations occasionally especially during fair time late july early august. During the fair it appears they use sites adjacent to the fairgrounds such as on 46th street. The fairground sites are tight but cg is normally quite empty except during large events so most of the time expect empty sites around you. Tmobile verizon and att all strong.
