Nice mix of tent, fixed tent and RV spaces. RV spaces have electric, water and sewer. Very friendly owners and staff. About a mile walk to downtown Nevada City. Good restaurants, friendly town. Lots to see nearby. I broke a tooth while here and found a great dentist a couple of miles away. Good as new next day. The park is on the pricey side.
The owner clearly had a vision which has been beautifully executed. The park has mixed sites as others have described. Most sites are under a spectacular old growth pine canopy in beautiful terrain. The sites are spacious and well spaced. The facilities are new & spotlessly clean. The park has the feel of a national forest yet is within walking distance, via footpath & local roads, to historic downtown Nevada City.
This is a relatively new park situated next to the Railroad Museum in Nevada City. It features about 16 RV sites, 15 tents that look like miners tents, and a bunch of tent camp sites. The common building is new, and features nice bathrooms, kitchen facilities for those in tents, and couches and a wood stove. They are in the process of building a pool as of January of 2017. The proprietors were very friendly, and glad to have the business in January.
