Reviews for Interstate Campground

| Adequate

An odd arrangement. The "campground" is actually a green space on a courtyard between many single level apartments. Some trees and grass. Good water 30 amp service from old outlets. Sewer at every site. No cable and very limited over the air television. Immediately off the interstate so convenient. Noise is a little problem. Train tracks close by so that noise is present, too. Pool looked clean but is only open 10AM to 5PM. $5 charge for anyone using pool in addition to camping fees. Very odd. All in all an OK overnight spot for the price of $20.

Nice place for spending just the night while traveling thur. Full hookup. The grounds are well lit at night. Easter weekend so many places were full, glad to have found this place. Also, right beside the interstate.

All the amenities work just fine. Good cell phone coverage mandate you could purchase internet via Comcast wifi. I stayed seven day and everything worked well. The bath house had plenty of hot water, shower stalls, toilets, etc; but from an aesthetics perspective it could use some serious updating. the laundry also functioned quite well. If your looking for ambience this is campground is not for you. But if you are looking for functionality for a great price this is your spot

| One night stop

By user-5851141... on 2017-10-23.

This is a great place to stop for one night. Easy on and off the interstate and easy pull throughs. Not many sites though. We pulled in at 10pm and left at 8:20am and never saw anyone who worked there. The office didn't open until 9am.We paid by using the drop box. Electric, water, and sewer worked great. Didn't notice any road noise, but we were running the a/c all night. Lots of light at night, so I'd recommend covering your windows. Not a place I would stay for more than a night. It is the strangest rv park we have stayed at with all the lots in the center of a bunch of single story apartments. It has a pool and showers that we didn't use.

Convenient to I-81. RV site on blacktop but no trees or grass near the campsite. Bathroom not very modern.

| Great overnight stay

We stayed here in October 2018. Planed on 1 night, ended up staying 2 weeks. Not much for kids to do there except the swimming pool in summer. Has bathhouse with showers and has a laundry room. There is a train that goes by behind the park but isnt annoying. Right off the interstate but barely hear the traffic. Easy on and off. The owner is a very sweet lady. We stopped for just one night on our way back through. If we hadn't been in a hurry to get back home, we would have stayed longer 30amp, water and electric. And recently upgraded Wi-Fi (awesome)

It's a courtyard in the middle of a motel type arrangement. There only about 6-8 sites, and there nothing fancy. No dog walk, 30amps, low water presure, but adequate. All said, it's very close to 81, it's cheap, and the lady is very nice. I hesitate to call it a campground, but its decent and its $25.
