Reviews for Interstate RV Park & Campground

| Quick on and off I80 - Good for a night

By user-4594747... on 2017-10-23.

Clean enough campground and easy to navigate from I80. Easier than anticipated to get our 38' class A into site 65, I had to use a leveling blocks on the front, but not terrible. Our site had full hookups, but shared a split water spigot. Not a big deal, but my 25' water hose barely made it. The front entrance was extremely bumpy and uneven so please drive slowly and cautiously. Again, good spot to lay your head for a quick on and off of I-80

| This place is where old trailers go to die

This park is ok for an overnight. Parts of the park are very dumpy with old trailers that seem to have been here since the 60's. The sites are very narrow and the rules say "Don't park on the grass!" Impossible to stay off the grass. Park Rules are very negative. I can not recommend this park for more than one night.

Very nice little RV park with friendly helpful staff. Very easy to get to off of I80. Nice level spots with trees and grass. There is a Flying J gas station just outside of the campground which was convenient.

This park is easy in and out of I80. We stayed a couple nights for our 43 ft rig. The road needs to be fixed, a lot of potholes.

We are taking a fall tour of the west, starting in Michigan and going the great circle route in our 22-foot B+ RV. We're still getting the knack of it. We found Interstate RV Park convenient with clean bathrooms. We couldn't hook up to water and sewer because it was too cold -- freeze risk -- but we had electricity and we were able to fill up our water tank before they turned the water off. Lots of full-timers in this park -- thy must make some other arrangement for them. My dog was particularly baffled by the large plastic pig that greeted us.

| OK for overnight

Interior roads and sites are gravel and narrow. Turns are tight for big rigs. I waited till I got out of the park before hooking up my toad. Not great but we've been in worse.

| Terrific Stopover

Second time here. Staff is friendly. Gravel sites, paved roads. Get here early for a pull thru. The rest are back in. Busy during summer months so call ahead. We'll be back.

| Overpriced for a short overnight stay

By user-5878079... on 2017-10-23.

30 amp and 50 amp sItes are the same price at around $42.00. Yogi Bear Jelly stone gave me half off for a short overnight stay with 50 amps at $25.00 and I don't have any club discounts. However, is convenient off I -80 .

| I would stay here again, for a night.

This park is easy to get to, only a mile or so off I-80. There are also a couple truck stop areas at the I-80 intersect, in case you need to re-fuel. There is some road noise from I-80, but not too bad. We stayed only one night in a pull-thru. There's a nice grass area around the site and you’re on gravel that was somewhat level. The sites are tight too, long enough for my 39 foot 5th wheel and truck, but close to your neighbors. There are a lot of mature shade trees around but not a problem for our satellite. The Wi-Fi was very good as well. There is a sign in the office the sates there will be no refunds for unused days if you should decide to leave early. The check-in staff was friendly enough. We didn't use the outdoor pool or other facilities. I would stay here again, for a night.

Very clean sites are just about perfectly level and the staff was so nice and friendly location is great just off I80

| Convenient rv park

By user-6089116... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed 3 nights 10-2 thru 10-4-16. Have stayed at park previous years. Tight sites, level with full hook-ups. Our cost was $36, Wi-fi terrible and even though park about mile away the noise could be heard. We will stay again only because of the convenience of location.

This is a convenient, family friendly, comfortable, and a home away from home RV place to stay!

| Ok overnight. Limited 50 Amp Sites

By user-5430309... on 2017-10-23.

An older park with a cranky old lady behind the desk. Some sites are not very level. Avoid site 65. Problematic WiFi. If you do not have a long fresh water hose, beware of sites where you have to hook up to the neighboring site. Overpriced for what is offered. No cable.

| Expensive but convenient

$48 without Good Sam discount. Grass was green, site was gravel. Ok for overnight but the price is high for me.

| Ok for one night

Agree with previous reviews. 50amp cost $47+. Was so close to next door RV that it was hard to walk through. Site was level. Had to share water spicket so had to use extra hose. Felt that this is over priced for what you get. But, if you need to stay in this area, ok for one night.

| Polite but Yuk Park

Bring a can opener to put your awning out in overnight area. Grass uncut, mosquito infested. Everyone pays same price as they say discount already applied. Forget about your Good Sam 10%.

| Just Convenient

By user-5280834... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-07-26 to 2019-08-05

We stayed here while visiting family in Davenport. Our site was level, but many are not. Spaces are very close together. I had to run my water hose across two spaces to get water. They say they have Wifi, but it is useless!
