If you like to have lots of rules then this is the place. We reserved site 13 on the water. Unfortunately the map did not specify that it was tent only, no RV. Rules are many- arrive & be completely set up by 10 and NO later, no people or pets in the water by your site, no adult beverages allowed at any time, all vehicles are to park on the gravel pad that is on the site, or park by the office parking lot which is quite far from the camping, firewood to be purchased from place down the road and my personal favorite everyone goes to bed between 9 & 10 due to quiet time starting at 10. This is strictly enforced and rangers are confrontational!!! Good luck on your adventure here!
This is for the Interstate Park on WI side. Sites are small, not flat and full of water. We purchased a electric site for our 34' 5th wheel. There's no way you could even back a pop up in this spot. The park refused to provide a refund because it was a walk up purchase. However the hiking in park is great and lots of scenic overlooks.
