J&D is a clean campground. It has nice flat shaded sites. We enjoy spending a weekend and relaxing. Great for all ages. The staff is very nice too.
Would come back again. A lot of seasonal campers. No golf carts allowed so its quiet. Most sites have a good amount of trees. Lots are graveled and level. Real easy to back in sites.
We've been in campgrounds from PA to FL and haven't found one to beat it. Shaded, flat sites. New laundry room. Nice ice cream and sandwich shop across the street. Been there several times and will be back when in the area.
Very nice campground! Grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Loved our site, flat, fairly roomy, shaded and crushed stone, with nice open grassy field directly behind us. Can't speak of baths and laundry as we didn't use them. All folks working there we very friendly. Only 2 minutes from Knoebels Amusement Park, so it fills quickly. Make early reservations. What kept it from five stars??? Close to major highway. We were in the "E" section along Rt. 487. Unfortunately the road noise and vehicle headlights at night were problematic sitting around campfire. The other negative was over half of all site were seasonal. Though I will say the seasonal sites for the most part were well maintained. Don't expect to get a site along the creek or around the ponds, they are all seasonal.
