Reviews for Jackson Hole / Snake River KOA

Stayed 2 nights with our small 23ft RV. Payed more then $75,- a night. The staff (2 men on the campground) were helpfull to get us into the right site and even assisted with the hook up. There was no wifi possible on the site, only at the reception desk. The staff at the receptiondesk kept eating their popcorn while talking to me, which I think is very impolite. There are unisex bathrooms which are okay. But, there are not enough bathrooms. In the morning and in the evening we had to wait as all the bathroom facilities were occupied. And speaking of the restrooms: No more toiletpaper in the morning. It took till 2pm untill new toiletpaper was placed. The sites are not very large. But they are large enough though. We've travelled to major touristic destinations (Calgary, Jasper, Yellostone) and this campground was the most expensive of them all. It is not a bad place to stay but For $75,- a night I expect KOA-resort.

The staff are very polite and helpful. It's one of the most expensive campgrounds we've stayed at in the lower 48, but all the campgrounds in this area are way overpriced. The bathrooms and showers are very well kept and new. The WiFi is spotty and Verizon doesn't have much of a signal in this area. If you are looking to stay in a cabin that's more what this campground is for. There's only about a dozen sites for campers and they are only for smaller RVs.

I keep trying to book the side from August 27 for 6 to 7 nights. The reservation site kept telling me that I needed to call us they were special circumstances. So I emailed them for information. In addition to their high prices, even if you're staying seven days they require that you book one of their river excursions at the same time in order to get a reservation for a campsite. That's ridiculous. There must be lots of people who would love to stay there but physically aren't able to do such a trip. What a bad example for KOA

People are very nice but the WiFi is lousy. Only fully hooked ups no pull through. But not worth $105,00.
