Well maintained with level sites. Right off the interstate so you will hear the road noise, but it isn't that intrusive. Trains across the river, they also are not intrusive. During the travel, summer, season can be very busy so a reservation can be helpful to assure a spot.
Just off I-70 this park is well kept, nice level grounds with full hookups, picnic table, grill and fire pit. Sites along the Colorado River, was very quiet even though it was just off the highway. They were able to accommodate us as a walk up and the fee was good at $35. Bring bug spray would be the only suggestion that I would make. Would stay again.
Depends if you like fishing not the best place limited cell but plenty of room and peaceful.
Easy to access right off I-70 and spacious, covered spots. We came here for a quick overnight stay with our 3 dogs and the staff was friendly and helpful. Full hookups, amazing views, and comfortable spots. Definitely on our list for a return visit one day.
The area is very pretty and sits right on the Colorado River. Sites have some grass, a concrete area with a picnic table and shelter. There is a grill and a fire pit. Our site was electric only for $24/ nite plus $7 park pass. There is a spot to get water and to dump. Full service sites are $28 + $7. Nestled between I-70 and the train track you do have Noise. Luckily the train didn’t blow its whistle when going thru.
Not much around unless you drive 30 minutes. Sites are ok. We had a few hornets nest under the picnic shelter. Water pressure sucks.
Would campers start posting campground map so fellow campers can see area. Thank you! Fellow camper
Nice park with canyon walls and Co. river as scenery. Thought I had booked a 50amp site but got a 30amp. No cell problems here.
