| Smells like pine

Great campground. We had full service and a pull-through site. Sites are well spaced and the smell of the pine trees is wonderful. Park staff is very friendly and take the time to explain things about the park before sending you off to your campsite. Roads inside the campground are very bumpy and could use repair.

We were there during the Elk rut, truly phenomenal. Indeed the roads were not glass smooth but, rough roads are common up here. A bit of sage advice about the roads up here "slow down, you'll see more and bounce less".

Very spacious sites, washrooms are a close walk. We were fortunate to get one of the limited full hook up sites. If you need a full hookup, book well in advance. For those without full hookups, there is only one (1) shower facility located on the north end of the campground.

Lots of Elk roaming in and out of the campground. Rustic setting with full hook ups. Trees have grown so that your RV will get some unwanted pin striping unless you are extremely diligent.

| Great Location in Jasper

We just returned from a 50 day RV trip (3400 miles) where we stayed in 16 different RV parks. (anywhere from 1 night to 6 nights). We are rating them in relation to each other. Campground is old and somewhat run down but a great location in the woods. Very spacious pull throughs. Reservations are hard to get. You must go on line on Jan. 11 at 8 a.m. (mst) to get the site you want. This campground will be closed for the entire 2019 season for complete renovation.

When I pulled in the camp was CLOSED. I was told due to construction. I tried to call but got a recording that didn t say anything about being close. Had to drive over 30 miles to find a place to camp
