We just got a motorhome this summer. Searching local area for weekend parking, I stumbled on this park. Since it had no reviews and it's close to my work I stopped to check it out. It's off season so no one was there to talk to so these are observations of mine and I have not stayed here. This park is about 3.5 miles south of SR24 on Webster Road about the same North of SR30. It would be great for over nighting if you don't want to boondock at Walmart, in a rural country setting 5 miles outside the city of New Haven. It would also be good for a rural quite weekend stop over. There seems to be about 8 rv parking areas, gravel fairly but not totally level - you'll need to use jacks. There is 50 amp power and water. There does not SEEM to be water dump hook up at lots or in the park. The lots are large nice thick grass, with plenty of room for the largest units, but there are no pull throughs. There are no trees in the RV area. There are truck hub fire pits but I seen no signs about wood-you might need your own. No picknick tables. This place is a community township park not trying to make a profit, keep that in mind. Someone listed there fee as $20. Surroundings. There is an active RR Track that boarders the south side of the park. All roads in and out from the state routes are great wide country roads, much better than typical. City of New Haven is 5 miles away for supplies. There is a full RV Service Flying J on SR 30 as you come into New Haven, they have RV pumps, dump, and propane. It's usually got 4-6 rv there and semi busy, so Jefferson Park would be a nice break from that type boondocking.
