Better than expected!
By user-5264364... on 2017-10-23.
Wanted to give it a one star to keep others away. Great on and off the freeway but you did hear freeway noise. Big-rig friendly with lots of pull thru spots, some right along the river. Clean grounds with mature trees and lots if cool grass. We will be sure to stay here again.

False ad
By user-5305715... on 2017-10-23.
The landscaping and trees are beautiful, cannot get satellite signal because of it. We wanted to hook up to park cable, could not, says there is in ad, but there is none. Here for a week with no tv, not happy.

Perfect pit stop
By user-4698351... on 2017-10-23.
We stopped here twice on the way up to Washington. Then again on the trip back. Had a very simple but convenient late check in system that worked perfect for us each time. The park is clean and well kept. My daughter used the pool on our first stop. Which was nice. There looked to be a couple full time residents. But there areas were pretty well kept and it definitely wasn't an issue. Highly recommend if your looking for a place to rest for the night!

Great park. Nice off leash dog area. We had a riverfront lot. Large campsite with good separation from your neighbors. Will come again.

Beautiful RV Park
By user-5326444... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-10-12 to 2017-10-15
First, this park is well maintained. Super clean. Plenty of room between sites.
We were in space 24, which is a river view spot. We were able to look out our windows or sit in our chairs outside and see the river. There is a grassy area between the sites and the river with lots of trees. It's like a park.
We had a huge grassy area between us and the site next to us on our door side. There is hedges between the sites that provide privacy.
The only negative is that you can hear the interstate which is at the front of the park, but that is definitely not a reason not to go here...would definitely go back and would definitely spend more time. Such a relaxing atmosphere.

Best Park
By user-5743867... on 2017-10-23.
The JGW is one of the best RV parks that we have ever visited. Spacious concrete pads with beautiful landscaping everywhere. Wonderful view and access to the Sacramento River. We have visited previously at the Sacramento RV park nearby. It too is a nice park but after staying at the JGW, this becomes our choice park for future visits to the area.

Good Stop
By user-4720426... on 2017-10-23.
Right off the 5, ready access for big rigs etc. Sites on the river. Pull throughs and back ins, whatever sites your fancy. Super clean facilities-laundry, showers, bathrooms and a pool! The also have some storage. The storage is expensive (about 60) a month but it's pretty darn secure. Very nice peeps too!

Stopped in while traveling south. What a surprise. Very nice park, close to the freeway but not a lot of traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again

Little expensive

Little too expensive for what you offer but friendly staff, good location

Very nice park, but a bit pricey!
By user-5071711... on 2017-10-23.
Stopped here for an overnighter and the park was as good or better than the reviews. We paid $55.- with an AAA discount for a riverfront pull through; very nice but pricey.

Great place for us

We stopped here due to snow on the Siskiyou Pass. Very nice park with level spots, plenty of room and nice facilities. Pull through was easy and provided lots of privacy between spaces. Wifi was FABULOUS! There were a few full timers, but their spots were neat and tidy. We felt safe and would gladly return. We thought it was a good value for a very nice park.

Not very helpful

Stayed 2018-02-27 to 2018-02-28
We arrived shortly after the office closed. Although after hours instructions were provided they did not make clear which sites we're 'river' ones and, more importantly, did not include the restroom access codes. As a result we inadvertently stayed in a river site and were unable to use the restrooms. I tried looking carefully at the information displayed on the office door and called the local and 800 numbers for the site and left a message requesting a call back without success. When we left the following morning I complained about this to no avail. Not only did we camp in the dark without restrooms but we were charged full price for a river site. I was given the choice of paying or explaining to a sheriff! Needless to say we won't be visiting again..

Best yet

Arrived during office hours and staff was ready to assist. Sites are wide with concrete pads. Utilities are nicely arranged, and the showers clean and spacious. I haven't seen a shower this trip that has a wide bench with nice wire rack above. Definitely worth a stop.

Nice, clean park, if a little pricey
By user-6274338... on 2018-05-17.
Stayed 2018-04-22 to 2018-04-23
Stayed here one night on our way north, the website said $45-55, our receipt showed $60. We called ahead and reserved since it was getting late and my phone kept breaking up. It was pretty quiet for being so close to I-5. Nothing much in the way of amenities, but the spots were wide, level and concrete, and hooking up was a breeze.

Rude woman in office
By user-5886010... on 2019-08-09.
Park is ok. Neighborhood is pretty rough. Had a problem with tree branches being in the way. Some of them scratched our trailer. I went into the office to ask to have someone cut some branches and told the woman in the office about the scratch's. I wasn't expecting or asking them to do anything other than cut some branches down. She threw her arms in the air as to indicate 'oh well. Not our fault'. No apologies. No sense of urgency. She told me it would be 2 days before someone could cut them and if I wanted them cut sooner, I would have to do it myself.
Durango RV park is a few miles south on I5. Much nicer park and very friendly staff.

We stayed here for 8 days. Love the river view. It's a little expensive but the veiw is worth it. Space # 24 is the one to reserve.
