Reviews for Jim Hogg Park Lake Georgetown COE

| We love it here!

We love that this park is so close to Austin. Nice and cheap with a nice large covered picnic area at every site (with table). Fire ring is nice along with a grill. Sites are not close together with plenty of room for larger groups. Bathrooms could be cleaner, but we didn't expect it from a public/corp engineer park. Water and electrical only, there's a dump station before leaving the park. Excellent for $26 weekend rate. We had a great lake view spot. Weekends fill up fast, so reserve well in advance. Happy RV'ing!

We have camped here four times: May, 2008; October, 2010; April, 2014; October, 2016. We opt for a shady 50-amp site away from the lake. As seniors with Golden Age Pass, we pay half price. Level sites, shade or sun - your choice, good dog-walking terrain, friendly staff, very economical rates - all add up to what we consider the best campground for the value we have ever visited. We live north of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We have a good friend in Sun City, which is why we have visited Georgetown.

One of my go-to parks for a quick get away. Clean, quite with easy access to the lake.

This was a great RV campground! We stayed there this weekend, and it was very quiet, and the staff was extremely friendly! We will be staying there again over Memorial Day!

Nice spot with some privacy between. Good Verizon, and a nice trail along the lake. Our site was paved and level. Bathrooms have showers, though they are push button and haven't been cleaned for a while...

Great park, well worth the price. There was some construction across the lake that interfered with the peaceful atmosphere during the day but was tolerable and was done by dark. Lots of roadrunners to watch during the day and deer passing through at night. The lake was down about 12' during our stay but all in all, it was great!
