Wonderful BLM campground on Mackay reservoir. Facilities appear to be fairly new: in great condition. Bathrooms are vault, but immaculate and no odor. Asphalt parking with a covered picnic table, a raised tent pad (with built-in lashing points), and modern hook-up connections. All sites with water and 20, 30, & 50 amp electric. No sewer hook-ups, but dump station onsite. Several double sites available for twice the price of a single. There is a boat ramp and a nature trail. Just a few miles from the small city of Mackay. Paid $8 with golden age passport, but a bargain even at the full price of $16. Class C, with toad. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
