This was a nicely maintained state park. We had a good time snorkeling, riding our bikes and walking the grounds. Mosquitoes were not quite yet a problem yet. There was wifi and a laundry on site. The staff in my opinion were rude and unfriendly, but then again, it is a state-run park.
We went in summer time. Enjoyed the scenery. Has a beach which had a lot of jellyfish. At night the stink was of rotten eggs due to the low tide since you're next to the water. Saw beautiful wild iguanas on the site. Has small laundry. Overall it was good sites were very clean, and friendly staff.
We visited for a few days in Feb but did not camp. We found a couple boondocking areas. $10 to dump for visitors but no water to refill water tanks. :( The beach is pretty rocky but still a nice place to snorkle and fish and boat tours and such if you have the money. The small aquarium inside is free. The squirrels and the Ibis birds are friendly and fun to watch.
